Ananda Mela

It was a great weekend for WAPI on June 26 and 27.

Many of WAPI Members volunteered for the Ananda Mela in Redmond.

There were thousands of visitors who came to see the colorful heritage of India. It was fun event for the whole family. There was a lot of music and dancing. The weather was balmy for this outdoor festival.

 

WAPI had a booth which was staffed by volunteer physicians

About one hundred people stopped by at the booth with medical concerns.
There were free Blood pressure and glucose checks.

It was a great experience and we hope to do it again.
